"Bouncing to the front of the room, Mike Miller has his audience giggling before he opens his mouth. Mike's bald head blushes bright red. His blue eyes dance brightly. A wry smile forms under his gray streaked beard. Once he gets them laughing, he knows he has their attention. What follows is a lively 50 minute program..."

I've performed in many venues throughout the country including schools, bake sales, bus trips, youth groups, funerals(really!),retreats, camps, churches, nursing homes, hospitals, and corporate meetings. In the Lowcountry I've performed for Piccolo Spoleto, Spoleto 99 Finale, Tellabration!, Charleston Music Hall, Charleston County Library, and the Charleston County Parks to mention a few.
My stories are most appropriate for adults and children. I can create special programs tailored to your location and needs.
"He dazzled the audience with his folktales and storytelling." The School Connection
Locally Mike was recognized as the first storyteller to climb Mt. Pleasant! This grueling, 18 foot climb was documented in East Cooper Monthly's premier issue and was imortalilzed on 95SX radio as Mike told of the climb. Temperatures plummeted to 75 degrees and wind speeds reached almost 7 miles per hour. He braved the horrors of the climb, sweat in the eyes, chafing, gnat bites, and of course sunburn. The worst was when Mike tripped over a bike on the hill! But he kept on!
The official climbing team's flag was given to Mt. Pleasant Mayor Cheryl Woods-Flowers by Mike thanking the city for their support and for not arresting them!
"Mike's dedication to his craft and his talent make him a credit to his profession and a valuable asset to my own organization."
